The PNRR project

The “Sibillini Romantici” project was promoted by the towns of Amandola, Rotella, and Montedinove.

Funded through the public call for the submission of proposals for interventions aimed at the cultural and social regeneration of small historic villages, under the Recovery and Resilience Plan - MISSION 1: “Digitalisation, Innovation, Competitiveness and Culture” - COMPONENT M1C3: Tourism and Culture 4.0 - Measure 2. Culture-led regeneration of small cultural sites, religious and rural heritage, Investment 2.1 Attractiveness of Small Historic Towns, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU and managed by the Italian Ministry of Culture.

Carried out between 2022 and 2026, the project contributed to the revitalization of the area’s intangible cultural heritage through the creation of the Romantic Road of the Sibillini, the “Treasures of Taste” Museums dedicated to Truffle, the Sibillini Pink Apple, and Marroncino chestnut, the Jam Session Festival, a network of tourism operators, and a heritage community involved in co-designing the future of the territory.
